iPhone 18 Pro: Launch Date, Price and Every Confirmed Feature
Apple has started teasing the iPhone 18 Pro. Here is the confirmed launch date, expected price and every new feature we know so far.

Apple has begun sending press invites for its September event, and the star of the show will be the iPhone 18 Pro. Based on official Apple teasers, supply chain reports from Nikkei and Bloomberg, and code found in the iOS 26 beta, this is what we know.

Launch date and price

The event is scheduled for the second week of September, with pre-orders the Friday after and shipments the following week. Pricing is expected to hold at 999 dollars for the Pro and 1199 for the Pro Max in the US, with regional adjustments for currency.

New design

Leaked CAD files show a slimmer titanium frame and a redesigned camera bump. The rumored under-display Face ID system is expected on the Pro tier only.

Camera upgrades

The main sensor is reportedly a 48-megapixel stacked design with better low-light performance. The telephoto lens moves to a variable zoom mechanism, closing the gap with Samsung and Google.

A20 Pro chip

The new A20 Pro is fabricated on TSMC's 2nm process. Apple claims a big jump in on-device AI performance, which is what most of the software story will focus on.

Should you upgrade

If you are on an iPhone 15 Pro or newer, the jump is incremental. If you are on iPhone 13 or older, the battery life and camera changes alone will feel major.
